Uri Buri Restaurant

A five-minute walk from The Efendi Hotel, directly across from the sea, is Uri Buri—the acclaimed restaurant of chef Uri Jeremias and one of Israel’s most established and highly regarded dining destinations, now approaching four decades of operation. Its varied menu features creative dishes made with exceptional ingredients, including fish and seafood, vegetarian and vegan options, a selection of Israeli wines and locally made desserts.

The restaurant occupies a beautifully preserved Ottoman building. Its distinctive kitchen was designed around one guiding principle: removing the pressures usually associated with a professional kitchen, from noise and heat to odours and atmosphere.

The restaurant’s team brings together people of different faiths, communities, languages and identities. It is an island of sanity and coexistence, reflecting our belief that a shared life is both necessary and possible.
